27-year-old Elvis Bwomono most recently enjoyed a second spell in Iceland with ÍBV, before impressing during a short trial period that included a closed-door win over Dundee at Pittodrie.
Prior to his time with the Westman Islands club, he worked briefly with Stephen Robinson at St Mirren helping them to get a top six finish and progress to Europe, following a four-year spell with English side Southend United.
Bwomono made his international debut for Uganda in 2020, playing his part in a 1-0 win over South Sudan.
He has since gone on to make a further 13 appearances for the Cranes, with his most recent cap coming in a friendly against Cameroon at the start of the current campaign.
