Young Dons depart on loan

Two of Aberdeen’s U20 squad have today gone out on loan. Lukas Culjak and Jamie Henry have both agreed development loans until the end of season. Lukas, aged 19, will join League One side Brechin City FC. The central defender joined the Dons last season during the January transfer window from Borussia Dortmund. The former Bayern Munich youngster has made 32 appearances for the U20s. Meanwhile Jamie, aged 18, has signed for League Two side Arbroath FC. The midfielder has been with the club since he was 14 and was a product of the AFC Glasgow Centre.

Two of Aberdeen’s U20 squad have today gone out on loan.

Lukas Culjak and Jamie Henry have both agreed development loans until the end of season.

Lukas, aged 19, will join League One side Brechin City FC. The central defender joined the Dons last season during the January transfer window from Borussia Dortmund. The former Bayern Munich youngster has made 32 appearances for the U20s.

Meanwhile Jamie, aged 18, has signed for League Two side Arbroath FC. The midfielder has been with the club since he was 14 and was a product of the AFC Glasgow Centre. Jamie has played predominantly at right back this season and has captained the side. He has played for the U20s on 35 occasions.

Both Lukas and Jamie were part of Paul Sheerin’s squad which won the SPFL Development League title last season.

As it is a development loan both players are still eligible to play for the U20s as well as their new clubs.
