AFCCT is the independent partner charity of Aberdeen Football Club and, together with the ‘hook’ of football, utilises the Club’s high profile, brand and connections to enhance the delivery of the Trust’s charitable objectives to benefit local communities and positively influence others.
We have a vacancy for a full-time Education & Communities Officer on a fixed term contract, until June 2024. However, it may lead to a contract extension. As part of the Education Team, the successful candidate will deliver a number of programmes in our Primary & Secondary Partner Schools across both city and shire. The Education Officer will lead Education and Youth Work interventions at designated school(s), in partnership with Local Authorities and relevant stakeholders.
The successful candidate will also deliver non-term time activities by supporting holiday programmes providing extra support to young people in the community.
We welcome applicants from a variety of skillsets and career paths. Applicants should ideally have relevant knowledge and experience of working within an Education / Youth Work / Community Development setting.

This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week. • Salary: £21,000 – £25,000 • Holidays: 28 Days pro rata (inc.BH) • Training: Regular CPD events in mental health, working with young people, first aid and opportunities for development and progression
