Stuart Armstrong was the player that sat down with the media ahead of Saturday's trip to Tannadice.

The virus
“Illness is never good, so I think a few boys have been affected by it early on in the week.
“Hopefully they’ve recovered by now, and hopefully the boys that are feeling a little under the weather don’t feel too bad.
“We certainly don’t want to use that as an excuse going into the weekend.
“We have the luxury of having a big squad. So, yes, there have been a few illnesses, but it’s not been too disruptive.
Mood ahead of Saturday
“One of optimism. Our recent form, sometimes the narrative is that it’s not been great, but I think we’ve lost one in six. We just need to be a bit more consistent with wins rather than draws, and sometimes in games when we dominate, I think we need to turn that into actual points.”
Looking for consistency
“Yeah, it’s back to that consistency from earlier in the season, we have a good win, but we don’t necessarily follow up with another win, so that’s what we’re fighting for at the moment: consistency. We’re not far away from where we want to be, so that’s our aim.”
Dundee United
“It’ll be tough. They are a good team that likes to move the ball well, so it won’t be easy. I think we need to put our own stamp on the game, focus on what we’re good at, and be solid first and foremost, then take it from there.”
Keeping morale up
“I think you need to keep a good morale despite performances. You can’t win every single week, or most teams certainly don’t win every single week. So, I think you need to keep a level head and a positive mindset despite the result.
“Our ambition is to have those results a bit more stable and work on it from there.”
