SPFL Ladbrokes Premiership 2016/17 Fixtures Announced

Aberdeen will commence the SPFL Ladbrokes Premiership 2016/17 campaign with an away trip to McDiarmid Park on 6th August to face Tommy Wright’s St. Johnstone side.

The first game at Pittodrie will see Aberdeen host Heart of Midlothian on Saturday 13th August in a battle between the sides who finished second and third respectively last season.

The Dons first trip to Celtic Park will take place on the 27th of August and Aberdeen will welcome Rangers to Pittodrie on Saturday 24th September.

During the busy festive season Aberdeen will visit Fir Park on Christmas Eve then face Hamilton Academical at Pittodrie on Wednesday 28th December followed by a trip to Tynecastle to play Heart of Midlothian on New Years’ Eve.

Aberdeen’s final fixtures prior to the split will see Rangers visit Pittodrie for the second time of the season on Saturday 8th April and in a reverse of the opening day fixture Derek McInnes will visit his former side St. Johnstone on Saturday 15th April.

All fixtures are subject to change. All kick-off’s 3pm Sat/Sun, 7.45pm midweek unless stated.
