“We all know how important a game it is. We were beaten by Celtic in the Quarter Finals last year and I know in seasons before that we lost a number of semi finals to them so these are the games you want to win and we are all looking forward to it.

“Celtic are the team to beat at this level.

“We know they are a very good team but we are a good team as well so we just have to go out and do our best. I know a lot of the Celtic boys. I was away in Turkey with many of them recently but we must not be overawed. At the end of the day it is 11 players v 11.

“We have managed to keep a fairly strong squad together all season. Declan (McManus) is suspended and he will be a big loss but we have other good players and I hope we can give them a run for their money. I think it will be a very close game.

“This competition gives us a realistic chance to win a trophy. Winning at any level is important. It is important you have a winning mentality from a young age.

“Having all come through the AFC Youth Academy there is a strong bond between the players in the dressing room and we would love to win something. It would mean so much to us all and would be great for the club for good publicity. Everyone knows we have good young players but winning the youth cup would cement that.

“We also still have a chance of winning the league as well. We are a few games behind Celtic but I think we have a game in hand and we still have to play them again.”
