“It is another game we are looking forward to. Tynecastle is a venue that we enjoy playing at.
“The pitch is looking great there. It is as good a pitch as any in the league. The atmosphere will be good and there is a lot riding on the game. So a lot to look forward to.
“We lost down there earlier this season when Hearts scored a late goal but we created quite a number of chances that day. We feel we can still learn from that game. We have lost twice to them this season but when you analyse both performances, they were not bad performances. We created a lot of chances in both games.
“Hearts to their credit this season have always been competitive. They hit a little lull at the turn of the year but the performance against Hibs on Sunday shows what they are capable of. They have had a lot of youngsters who have come into the team and have played a lot of football – that will stand them in good stead for the future. They will only get better under Gary because of the experience they have had this season.
“It would be a shame to lose them from the league. They are a proper club who unfortunately have not been run properly. They will be a miss to the league. Gary Locke deserves a lot of credit. He has been a steady influence. He is a good person.
“Normally at this stage of the season there is not a lot to play for but every game now is a big game. The approach to every game has to be spot on.
“As with any game we set out to win it. It will be a very competitive game. We have a lot of work to do to get a result. They will be on a high after Sunday. The atmosphere created on Sunday by the Hearts fans was very good.
“Peter Pawlett trained yesterday. Hopefully there will be no reaction and if there is not he will then come back into the squad. It will be great to have him back. Clark Robertson will play part of the game for the U20s tonight. Jonny Hayes is still 3-4 weeks away. He will be back before the end of the season but not any time soon.
“We have still got it all to do if we are to finish in one of the European spots. We have to keep showing the same commitment that we have shown all season.”

Mark Reynolds
“I think we’ve been saying for weeks that every game now turns into a critical three points. It’s been relentless with the teams in and around us and it gives us a chance to get another three points on the board as we try to edge towards the European places by the end of the season.
“I think it’s going to be a tough game. As a defender you don’t want to be conceding goals and it’s great showing the qualities that we can battle back and come back from a goal down. Ideally we don’t want to go that goal down- we want to get the first goal and kick on from there.
“We know it’s going to be tough and we know Hearts are fighting for their lives. They are going to be dangerous- they’ve proved they can take points off us this season. We go there expecting a hard game but looking to come away with three points.
“Hearts have shown in previous games that regardless of what’s happening off the pitch it’s something they can’t influence so they try and do the best they can and try and pick up the points like every other team.”
