Clydesdale Bank SPL | Pittodrie | 3pm Kick Off | FT

It was Groundhog Day at Pittodrie.

Once again Aberdeen completely dominated this match against the side currently in second position in the SPL but again they failed to take any of their chances, partly down to some poor finishing, bad luck and some fine goalkeeping from Randolph.

Aberdeen played really well in this match and the midfield, Stephen Hughes in particular, were outstanding. In the first half the impressive Scott Vernon twice went close and after the break McGinn had a couple of chances and Gavin Rae and Josh Megnnis both missed great scoring opportunities.

It could have been even worse for the Dons, Jamie Langfield made a brilliant save in the closing stages as Aberdeen were hit on the break.

Aberdeen has now drawn 0-0 at home on six occasions this season, in each game they were the better side. The league table would look very different if they had won these games.

The Dons also lost Clark Robertson to injury just before half time after he fell awkwardly in midfield.
