Derek McInnes
“It’s the perfect game for us. Anytime Celtic come to town it’s always eagerly anticipated and it’s a good challenge for us. Celtic deserve huge credit for their league form this season. Fraser Forster’s record is something he should be really proud of. I think that says a lot about the team rather than just the individual as well. They are quite a formidable opponent but it’s always a game that as a player, manager & supporters you are always looking forward to to test yourself.
“I think we should go into the game looking forward to it and I think we should go into the game with confidence, certainly based on the fact our performances against Celtic this season. The games have all been tight and winning the game a couple of weeks ago was a great boost for us in terms of our confidence and our belief going into the game for the players.
“It’s a good game for us. It’s great to be back at Pittodrie, we’ve been on the road for a while now and it’s good for the players to be back here. One or two of the players potentially going to be playing for the first time here as well and I think the home support will be glad to see the team back and playing. If we put in the performance that we are capable of there is no question that we can go and try and get a positive result.”

Jamie Langfield
“We are looking forward to it. It’s good to be home, we’ve been on the road now for a good few weeks now and it’s a great game to be involved in against the champions.
“We know they are going to come here and because we’ve put them out the cup there will be an extra step in their play but we need to take the confidence from the game down there into the game. We need to be at our best and break them down at the back which has been very hard for teams in the league this season.
We were the last team to score against them in the league so we’ve got the players that we believe can hurt Celtic but we are obviously under no illusions how good the players they have and how they can hurt us at the other end.”

Russell Anderson
“All through the season, the approach the manager has been instilling in us is to never look further ahead than the next game – and when the next game is Celtic, that’s easier than ever.
“Even with the way league football is in Scotland, so that you play every opposition at least three times and possibly in the cup competitions too, games against Celtic never lose their appeal. There’s always a special atmosphere that surrounds them, and I can’t see that ever changing. When you add to that the fact that the game is going to be played under the lights as well, I think we can expect a special atmosphere on Tuesday.
“What we need to do is make that atmosphere work for us because we know Celtic will be coming here looking to turn the tables on us after we won down at Parkhead in the Scottish Cup.”
