The RedTV team would like to apologise to all supporters who were left disappointed by the technical problems which meant Tuesday night’s commentary from Firhill could not be broadcast.
We fully understand your frustrations.
Despite fully testing the setup in advance, it was not until the programme went live that it became apparent that there was a major issue with external servers outside our control which stream the audio.
Despite ongoing investigations throughout the match it was not possible for the problem to be fixed.
We would like to reassure all subscribers that steps have now been put in place to ensure that this issue will not cause a total loss of service in future, however we remain at the mercy of facilities at opposition grounds, satellite TV companies and others to help deliver live content.
Live coverage of this weekend’s crucial clash with Kilmarnock will be available from 2.50pm with special guest summariser, Peter Pawlett which will include live video coverage on RedTV International.
