“We scored some very good goals, Pawlett’s goal is excellent in terms of the build-up and the timing of the run is excellent too then there is the calmness to apply the finish, it’s a goal that should really be applauded. Once we got the second goal we were very comfortable and it knocked the stuffing out of Ross County.

“Kenny McLean did well, he was really efficient with his work. The little change that we made at half time probably restricted him a wee bit from the role he has been asked to play this season for St Mirren.
