Following extensive discussions with various members of our support, the Club is pleased to announce it has listened to the feedback from fans and as such the singing section within Pittodrie will now be situated within the Richard Donald Upper Stand.

Previously, the Club spoke of its desire to hold the singing section within Section X of the South Stand to enable supporters within this area to be closer to the action, adjacent to fellow supporters and to allow the sound to travel.

However, there has been a clear appetite among fans for the singing section to continue in the RDU, where an unofficial singing section was created towards the end of last season.

There is no doubt the atmosphere at Pittodrie improved during the last few games of the season and it’s this type of vocal support of the team that we want to encourage next season. As a Club we want to improve the match-day experience for our fantastic fans and ultimately create a sense of belonging among our supporters, to make Pittodrie a fortress once again.

Season ticket holders who previously had seats within Section X will now not be forced to move and will be able to retain their seats should they renew their season tickets.

Anyone wishing to join the singing section next season can purchase a season ticket for this area for £356 during our Early Bird period from the Pittodrie ticket office, over the phone on  01224 63 1903 or online via www.afc.co.uk/eTickets.
