Peter Leven carried out the pre-match media duties on Friday lunchtime ahead of our William Hill Premiership match with Kilmarnock.
“I hope so (turning a corner after the Livingston win.) As I said, it was a good victory and a good performance, but we’ve got to build on that. We can’t stand still and say it was amazing, we need to keep working on how we can get better and what we need to improve. It’s been a good week.”
A trip to Kilmarnock
“Tough game, tough place to go. Again, it’s all about what we do; our application, attitude, starting fast, starting well and building on from the weekend. It’s a tough place, but we’re in a good place right now, so we’ve got to keep building momentum.
“Every game is a six-pointer. It doesn’t matter who you’re playing against — that’s the standard and the ambition of the club. It’s an opportunity to get three points, and we’re looking to go and take them.”
The signing of Afeez Aremu
“We’re just waiting on the visa, so I don’t know about that yet (if he will be involved against Kilmarnock.) He came in yesterday and I had a chat with him. He’ll bring a bit of a physical presence and experience. He’s a welcome addition.”
Additions to the squad
“I’m probably the wrong guy to ask that. I’m working day to day with the players, and Lutz and the recruitment team are working hard in the background. They feed bits back to me, but there are still three days to go. We’ll see what happens.”
Team news
“Liam Morrison has trained well this week. He’s had a full week of training and is looking good, so he’ll be in the squad at the weekend.
Everybody’s good, apart from the longer-term injuries. Emma is still out just now.”
