Weather situation

“It’s frustrating, but it’s out of our hands. The weather has been ridiculous recently, but we’ll prepare and be ready for the game tomorrow.

“That’s all we can do until we’re told otherwise. If we’re told it’s not on, then we’ll adapt accordingly. For now, we assume the game is going ahead and prepare in the best way we can.”

New players settling in

“They’re starting to understand their teammates better and how we want to play. They’ve come here to play games and get minutes, and we’re trying to give them that opportunity to play. Hopefully the game is on tomorrow.

“They’ve trained really well. Afeez is getting stronger every day and has looked sharper over the last couple of days and has looked really bright. Dennis was always a little bit ahead of him, but the extra training and the game on Saturday really helped. We’re looking forward to seeing what they can bring to the team.”

Adapting training

“We had a bounce game on Saturday just between ourselves for 60 minutes. The conditions weren’t great, but we managed to play one on Saturday.”

Looking to push up the table

“Yes, we need to keep looking up and try to catch the teams above us. We take it game by game. We go into every game wanting to win, so nothing changes for tomorrow.”

Managerial update

“There’s nothing to say on that. That’s for the people above me, and when I find out, you’ll find out as well.

“It’s out of my control. A new face can bring a bit of freshness and give me some support, but whatever the club needs me to do, I’m available.”

Squad update

“We’ve got a big squad and brought new midfielders in. Ante (Palaversa) is a good kid, he has been training well and is available.

“Jack (Milne) is suspended. Gavin Molloy should be in the squad — he’s trained really well over the last few days, and it’s great to see him back.”
