“I’ve not spoken to anyone yet (regarding the managerial speculation). I’ve got a meeting on Monday, but my focus is the game on Saturday. That’s the most important thing for me.

“I would definitely want to be part of any new set-up at Aberdeen. I’ve enjoyed every minute of my time here. We will have that discussion on Monday.

“It is a great club, it is a huge club and there is potential to go even higher. You’ve seen that this season with the games in Europe and we’ve reached a Cup Final and a Semi-Final. For anybody coming in, there is a great opportunity for them.

“Maybe there has been some uncertainty for players. Those who are out of contract and who don’t know who the manager is. That is my job and the staffs job, we are here day to day, we know our job, we know our roles. We’re in a position we don’t want to be in but again we just need to keep working day to day and pick up three points as much as possible.

“They get their focus all week and in training. They all know their roles and responsibilities at this club. I know my job and the staff know their job. The main focus is Dundee. That’s the most important thing. What happens next week in the meeting will take care of itself. My main focus is tomorrow.

“At the time they said there was a fault with the VAR, then they gave the goal and  I thought it was fixed at the time. I didn’t realise until Monday/Tuesday when they said it was an educated guess. It was frustrating but at the end of the day, I can’t change anything now, it has happened now so we need to move on from that.

“I need to move on, I have never seen them three days later overturn a result and give us an extra two points. There is no point in getting angry about the past. I can’t change it, nobody can change it. We just need to focus on tomorrow and get the three points.

“We are in good form as well, we’ve not been beaten in three, won two and drawn one. We’ve got a bit of momentum but it is going to be a difficult game. They are fighting for top six. As I said, we are Aberdeen, we are at home, we’ve got to take the game to anybody who comes to Pittodrie and try and get the three points.

“Yes they have got good players but it is all about what we do and just build on that momentum. Obviously we were disappointed not to get three points against Livingston but hopefully we can rectify it tomorrow.

“Rubi is back in full training. Next week might be too soon for him but hopefully we will see him at the Semi-final. Everybody else is fit and healthy.”
