After the victory in Dingwall Paul Sheerin spoke to RedTV:
“It was a hard fought win.
“Robbie gave us the platform with the penalty save at the start of the second half when I thought we were very sloppy. I also thought for the first time this season we looked very leggy. I don’t know if we did too much training yesterday or it was the journey that cause that but we did not have the same bite and tempo about us. It is something I will have to look at.
“It is a sign of a good team though, when you are not at it but are still able to grind out a result. That is a positive.
“Robbie’s penalty save was an excellent stop and he also had a couple of good saves after that. It was a crucial save at a crucial time, right at the start of the second half. They came out and made things difficult for us and if they scored it might have been tough getting a result. It was a really big save at this stage of the season as well.
“Then we get the goal.
“It was a great finish by Andrew Driver. It was good play in the build-up, a bit more tempo, a good delivery and a really composed finish. He does not snatch at it, just guides it in.
“Andrew did very well on the left side today. The first thing he did was very positive and that lifted him. He then gets his goal coming in off the right side.
“After getting a goal we had a few chances on the break and we made the wrong decisions a couple of times. At 1-0 they are very much still in the game and we could have lost the points. My nerves were a bit shredded at the end! There were balls coming in and you did think they might sneak one. It was a very competitive game and maybe a draw would have been a fair result.
“Credit to our players. They stuck to their guns and they work hard for each other.
“That is now eight straight wins which is a great achievement at any level. We have to give the boys credit for that but we just need to keep winning games and see where it takes us.”
