Aberdeen FC youngster Ethan Ross has joined Championship side Dunfermline Athletic on loan for the second half of the season.
The 18-year-old, who made his professional debut for The Dons around this time last year when he came off the bench in the Scottish Cup replay against Stenhousemuir, then made his first start for the top team against Hibernian at Pittodrie in October.
The Youth Academy graduate has made seven first team appearances over the past two seasons. Ethan has also been a consistent star performer for Paul Sheerin’s Reserve side during that time and was named the AFC Development Player of the Year for 2018/19.
The attacking midfielder has been capped for Scotland at Under 17 and Under 18 level and was part of the Under 19 side which defeated Germany recently.
The Kintore born player goes straight into the squad for tomorrow’s East End Park meeting with Ayr United.
