The King of the Beach End returns

Our inaugural Legends Day fixture will take place on Saturday, with our all-time record goal scorer, Joe Harper, welcomed onto the Pittodrie turf pre-match.

Across two spells with the club, Harper made 300 appearances for Aberdeen and scored 205 goals. During that time, he helped the Dons to Scottish Cup success in 1970 and 1976, while also playing his part in the squad that went on to win the Premier Division title in 1980.

Joe and his family will be hosted as guests of the club on Saturday and supporters are encouraged to arrive early and help create a special atmosphere as we honour Pittodrie’s greatest goal scorer.

The Opposition

Hibs defeated Kilmarnock 3-0 at Easter Road last time out and come into Saturday's meeting undefeated in their last five.

After an impressive win at Celtic Park, draws against Dundee (3-3), Livingston (0-0), and Motherwell (0-0) followed, before victory over Neil McCann's Killie.

David Gray's side will play top-six football after the split, they are chasing down fourth placed Motherwell, with Hibs three points off the pace.

Forward Ante Suto has proved a smart addition in the winter window, the Australian has four goals and one assist after just 292 minutes of Premiership football.

From the dressing room

"I think it's really important to find the immediate issues, correct them, perform better, stick together, and pick up some points. Everyone's in it together." Stuart Armstrong.
