Goalkeeper Kelle Roos was the player who spoke to the media ahead of the Dons cinch Premiership opening game of the season in West Lothian on Saturday.
“It is going to be tough as Livingston will be ready to work and run for their team. So first and foremost we need to match that energy and aggression and go from there.
“There are three points up for grabs in this game and that is what we want. At the same time we won’t get ahead of ourselves and we know it will be tough, so we have to be at the races.
“It was nice to get the win in the last friendly against Charlton. Whenever you step on the pitch you want to win, so that was good. But in terms of trying to build momentum, that really starts this weekend, although we can definitely take confidence from the pre-season that we had.”
“If you don’t concede then it obviously gives you a platform to go and build and win games, which ultimately is what football is about. It is very important for myself and all my defenders that we get our organisation right and take pride in it.
“The gelling with the new players is going well. We speak to each other a lot and try to help them settle in as quickly as possible as some of them have been in the door a bit longer than others. It will take time. Slobodan Rubezic seems like a good guy who is very tough, so it is good to have him.
“Nicky Devlin has been brilliant in the whole of pre-season in my opinion. He is a very dynamic player and seems to be settling in very well. But I don’t think he should be nominating me for any more fines! Like he did today. But other than that, he is a top guy.”
