Aberdeen have today successfully appealed Derek McInnes’ one-game touchline ban.
The Dons manager was sent to the stands during the Dundee United v Aberdeen match on Wednesday 2nd March and subsequently was offered a fixed one-match touchline ban for misconduct.
However, the club decided to appeal the decision and at Hampden today in front of an independent panel at an SFA hearing the sanction was reduced to a one-match suspended ban until the end of the season.
Derek McInnes will therefore take his usual place in the technical area for our match against Hamilton Accies at Pittodrie on Sunday 3rd April.
