Jamie McGrath pointed to his being another case of the Dons not getting the result they deserve this season as they were defeated at Easter Road.
“We created plenty of chances, their keeper was man of the match, it’s very disappointing. But we’ve created a lot of chances in a difficult place to come, so that’s a positive. We probably should have scored five or six and on another day, we take the win.
“We’ve defended set plays well recently so it wasn’t like us to concede but that second goal came at a crucial time. Both goals were sloppy, we shot ourselves in the foot, but we dug in, created very good chances, it was one of those days. We have to be upbeat and be confident going into the game on Wednesday. It’ll be a battle, they’re a good side with two big boys up top but we have to play like today and take our chances.
“It’s been a tricky period with a lot of games against big opponents, but we have to start getting points. But if we continue to play like this, we’ll be fine. The travelling with seven away games out of eight hasn’t helped, it takes it out of you, but there’s a run of home games coming up and it’s important to make the most of that.”
