Following today’s defeat at Easter Road, Barry Robson was again left to rue a result that didn’t reflect the run of play.

“That’s the best we’ve played since I’ve been in the job. I know we lost the game, but if you come to Hibs and have 24 shots, dominate the whole game, we must be doing something right. I give the players credit for that, but in the end, we’ve got to win games.

“The first goal was a mistake all the way through. The goalkeeper shanked it, Rubi’s got a bit close, Boyle has gone through one on one. Then the second, we lost a goal at a set play, which is the first one in a while, we’ve been good at those recently.

“Now we have to go again against Killie and start to get some points together. But if we’re going to give that type of performance every time we go out there, we will win games. Their goalkeeper gets man of the match, everybody saw we were by far the better team in the game, but we didn’t get the points and that’s the most important thing.”
