So much went on in the Aberdeen win over Livingston that afterwards, Topi Keskinen had to check the final score.
“I am really happy, of course. We were just in the changing room and we were talking about this may be one of the most entertaining games that I’ve ever been part of. Everything happened in that game. What was the result? 5-2? 6-2?! I just started scoring goals in the last ten minutes. I should have started a bit earlier!
“I was so confident that we’re going to win this game, even though I still don’t understand how we were 2-1 down at one point. We were going to win that game. I think the fans knew as well. We were so good the first half. We played really good football today. We could have scored even more goals.
“I think this type of game suits me really well. I had a lot of space, and I was working really well with Mitchel on the left side, so it was good. We just said today, before the game as well, that we play with fast wingers. Go 1v1 and just put the ball in the box. That’s usually how we score our goals as well. That’s my type of game. I need to be just direct.
“I really prefer a bit of a freer role on the left side. Where I played before, I haven’t played there that much, so I’ve been outside of my comfort zone. Now, I’m back in the comfort zone, so it’s been really good. I just think I get the best out of me if I play out wide and not all the time in the pocket and back to the goal. It’s not really my game.
“We are feeling good as a team now. I think we’ve had really good training sessions. We’ve gone really hard. If you go hard in a week, I feel a bit better on the game days as well. The intensity has been really good in training. We need to do the simple things well, and we are a really good team and we have really good players as well.
“If the training is a bit harder, players get more touches on the ball during the week and feel a bit more comfortable. I’ve had a really good confidence level in these games, so it’s been good.”
