“It was scrappy game.

“I think we probably deserved a draw but it was a frustrating game because we did not create enough chances.

“I felt if anyone was going to get the goal it would have been us but it was a bad goal on our part.

“I don’t think we created enough during the game, we weren’t happy with that.

“On the whole it was a frustrating night.”

“It was hard without a recognised forward. It was tough. Kenny can do a job up there, but when you take the likes of Rooney or Church out it was always going to be difficult but as I say I don’t think we did enough on the night. We should have created more chances.

“Scott McKenna did well. I think he has a bright future. He is still a young boy but physically he is very strong and he also moves quickly. Some of his passing was very good as well.

“It was a disappointing night so it was good to have a positive with Scott making his full debut and let’s hope he can play many more games for Aberdeen.

“Every game we want to win and Sunday is no different. We want to put in a performance for the fans. I think we are owe them a win. We want to enjoy our last game and the only way you can do that is by getting a victory.

“We will be fired up for it.

“For my first year here I think it’s been a strong league campaign.

“Despite what has happened in recent weeks the league campaign has been good. It was a bit disappointing that we didn’t beat the points tally as I think we could have done it. It was something that we were aiming for in these final games.

“The manager knows what places that we need to strengthen, I’m sure he’ll be doing that in the summer. We’ve got a squad to build on so, we’ll be stronger next year. We look forward to that.

“It has been a long season. It has been one of the longest I have been involved in. I am looking forward to the time off I have got. I feel like I need it. I feel like I need to recharge the batteries.

“We will all be ready to go again next season.

“The next step for the club was getting training facilities. It’ll will also help in terms of people coming up to sign and when there’s a new stadium and a new training ground there it will be massive for the club.

“The club are going in the right direction.”
