Aberdeen FC is delighted to confirm yet another player has committed his future to the Dons.

Striker David Goodwillie has put pen to paper on a contract extension that will see him remain at the Club until the summer of 2016.

David, who has been a regular fixture in the starting eleven since late November, was thrilled to have his future secured with the Dons. “I’ve really enjoyed my experience so far at Aberdeen and have particularly enjoyed working closely with the manager and Tony.

“There are a great bunch of players here, alongside brilliant staff, who are all working towards delivering success for the fantastic supporters.”

“It’s a huge club, moving in the right direction under the vision of the manager, and I wanted to remain part of that as I feel something special can happen with this team.”
