Defender Ash Taylor will require surgery following a scan on the knee injury he suffered during the weekend 3-3 Pittodrie draw against Dundee.
The former Tranmere player will have an operation after the scan revealed cartilage damage. While the 24 year old, who last week signed a contract extension with the Dons, is expected to be out for some weeks, an exact timescale will not be determined until the surgery has been completed.
