sign new deals
Two more highly rated Aberdeen youngsters have signed new contracts this afternoon.
Goalkeeper Danny Rogers has signed a one year extension deal. Under the stewardship of Jim Leighton the 18 year old has impressed greatly since becoming a regular in Neil Cooper’s Youth side and has been rewarded for his performances with a new contract. He has also been recognised at International level and is now part of the Ireland U19 squad. Danny has made a number of appearances on the bench for the first team this season.
Craig Storie has signed a new two and a half year contract which means the highly promising midfielder has committed his future to the club. The 17 year old joined Aberdeen as a full time professional from Peter Weir’s Glasgow Centre last season despite being chased by a number a big clubs at the time including Manchester United. Craig, who captained the Scotland School Boys side, was unfortunate to pick up a shoulder injury last season which kept him out for a long time but has recovered from that and is now impressing in the U20s.
