Cove Rangers v Aberdeen: Pre-Season Preview

The Dons are back in action on Saturday afternoon when we make the short trip across the city to the Balmoral Stadium to take on Cove Rangers in the first of our pre-season friendlies for 2026-27.

Adult tickets are £15, with concessions £10.

Saturday is your first chance to see our latest signings in action, winger Tony Yogane the most recent arrival at Cormack Park to take us to seven new recruits going into our opening pre-season tie:

Post Cove plans

After our game at Cove, The Dons will head for Holland to take part in a warm weather training camp before facing off against Dutch Eredivisie side FC Twente, who came fourth in their countries top division last season.

Cove Rangers

Like The Dons, Cove have been busy in the transfer window so far, adding a host of new names to their ranks.

Former Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Motherwell forward Jordan White arrived at the Balmoral on Wednesday after five years with Ross County, as did ex East Fife man Destiny Oladipo, another forward.

Dons youngsters Aaron Fraser and Tristan Stephen also headed for AB12 last week, with the latter spending time on-loan at Lossiemouth and Keith last season

Cove manager and previous Aberdeen captain Paul Hartley also recently penned a three-year extension at the Balmoral.
