We are delighted to announce that we are recruiting for a 2nd Chef at Aberdeen Football Club’s brand new ‘state of the art’ Training Facility based at Kingsford in Aberdeen.
Along with the Chef Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the food at the facility including menu planning, ordering, stocktaking, and the site’s budget and finances. A sports nutrition qualification would be beneficial but not essential as our Company Nutritionist will be delivering bespoke training courses to all new members of the team.
You will be engaging with the client, Players and Football Management daily, so the utmost professionalism should always be adhered to.
As the 2nd Chef of the Baxterstorey team on site, you will lead from the front implementing the Baxterstorey DNA and service we are proud of. As the facility grows so does the opportunity to grow our offering through retail and event catering, so a keen eye for opportunities and a proactive approach for us to add value to what we offer is essential.
You must also be receptive and be able to think on your feet, as requirements may change or be added last minute and as dictated by activities of the club, first-team manager. This site requires a forward-thinking, positive person who, not only makes their own mark on the daily offering but engages with the client and Management to ensure that we are providing them with the best possible service.
Client relationships are key in delivering this service, it will be your knowledge through getting to know all key clients that will allow you to deliver a bespoke and personal service. This position is 5 days from 7 with the site open 7 days a week and every week will change bringing new challenges and opportunities.
