Barry Robson spoke to the media ahead of Wednesday’s match with Kilmarnock in the cinch Premiership. RedTV subscribers can watch in full now through the video above.

“It is going to be a difficult game. Kilmarnock will be very well structured and organised and they will be up for the game. It is always difficult to play against Derek’s teams. They’ve got some firepower in the team as well. We’re going to need to make sure we handle that. Over the past couple of days, we’ve looked through a lot where the potential threats are and where we can hurt them. It’s going to be a difficult game for us.

“I think it has been quite unique in the way that the fixture schedule has been. We’ve went seven out of eight away games and then it flips over to five out of six. It’s been a really difficult schedule for us but the one thing we need to do is just start picking up points in the league and there no games easy in this league. We know that and the players know that. We need to start winning some games and it gives us a chance of doing that at home.

“We’ve got some home games coming up, if we stick to what we’re doing and we make sure we perform at our best and make sure that we do the things that we’re good at and with the fans behind us at home, it gives us a real chance of winning games, that’s what we need to do.

“I’ve been criticised my whole career, whether that’s playing, whether that’s coaching, that comes with the territory. I think when you are at a big club like this, you know that it’s there. It’s always there. It’s nothing that is not new to me, it is something that I accept and we all accept. The one thing I like to do is talk about the positives, and I am very much like that with the players. I will look at the context of every defeat or how we perform and there’s a lot of things that has been very, very good. There’s some things that we need to improve on. We’ve got some games at home that we hope that we can perform well and we could win the game.

“There’s always a lot of niggles going on in the background but at the minute we seem alright. Shayden Morris is back and he’ll be back in the squad tomorrow. We’re we’re pretty close to everybody being available.

“Jack Milne has come in at right back and we’ve always thought it’s a position he can play. He can play as a centre back, he can play as a holding midfield player. He can run, he can pass the ball and he is a good athlete. He has a good attitude, he is young and hungry. He was up against Helsinki’s best player. I think the fans should be pretty excited. There’s another another young player we’ve taken in and given his full debut to. That’s part of the DNA of the club and it’s a good moment for him, especially in a big European game and I thought he performed so well.”
