Barry Robson spoke to the media after today’s defeat against Hearts at Tynecastle Park.

“When you come to Tynecastle, you need to play well, everybody needs to be at it and you need a bit of luck as well. I thought we were very good first half, but we didn’t get the luck today – when you look back at the disallowed goal, any foul wasn’t clear and obvious, I think we can all see that.

“The second half, I thought we started well, but the thing I was angry about was that after they got the penalty, we never performed after that. I said to the players afterwards that when you do go behind, you’ve got to be better than that. The performance we gave for 65 minutes today, we have to give for 90, in every game.

“We didn’t manage the game well enough at St Johnstone on Wednesday, today we showed inexperience because when you lose a goal, you’ve got to be calm, don’t let the game run away from you. And I thought we did that a wee bit. I have to take some responsibility too, because we went 4-2-4 with speed at the top end of the pitch because I wanted to try and win the game, so maybe that didn’t suit us.

“It’s a disappointing result. I understand the club, I know the demands, I get that. But you respond to that by working harder, by keeping going. I’m a fighter, my players are fighters and we just do all we can now to try to find a way to win a game on Tuesday night against a very good Dundee team.”
