Barry Robson spoke to the media on Monday morning to preview Tuesday’s game with Dundee. RedTV subscribers can watch in full now.

“I think for me it’s done (talking about the VAR decisions at the weekend). You move on. I said at the weekend how well I thought we performed for 60 minutes but then we didn’t manage the game and we need to play better. A couple of decisions went against us but what you do is you come out fighting. That’s what we’ll do against Dundee. The most important part is we move on, we’ve got a big game tomorrow. We want to go and win and that’s our focus at the minute.

“We go out and try and win every game. We always try to win the game, that’s what we are and that’s what we want to do. We need to go on a run and we need to pick up points. As I said it’s a home game for us. We get the fans behind us and we go and try to win the game.

“When you’re at a big football club, you’ve got an expectation here. I’ve been at the football club a long time and I’ve been a fan of this football club my whole life. I’m from the area and if anyone understands then I understand. All I want to do is to win football matches and to let the fans go home happy. As I said, we will go out there tomorrow and we will try and win the game for the fans and they will get behind us. We just need to be on the front foot, be positive, go and bring our talents to the game. If you think of the weekend, there was a lot to like about us for about 60 minutes, but we need to put on for 90 minutes. If we do that we give ourselves every opportunity.

“We will find out more about Rubi tomorrow and Stefan is going to need to have a scan today. So we’ll wait as long as we can on him to see how he is.

“We want to perform well and we want to win games. All we need to do is concentrate and if we get on the front foot and we start the game well the fans will always back us here. The fans have been great with me since I’ve been here. They really have. The players, myself, my staff, we appreciate that. We need to give back to them and we need to make sure that we win games. I get their frustrations, I understand that and we just have to make sure that we can perform and win games.

“Killian Phillips will go straight into the squad, obviously it’s been a quick turnover. He’s a good box to box midfield player, six foot two, he’s aggressive. He complements us in there and we’ve a lot of games coming up, we’ve got midweek games all the way through. He is someone else that gives us a bit more energy at times as well if we need it because we will need to rotate the squad. He’s all out there, he’s all action and hopefully he can bring that bite to us. He’s a really good kid and he will fit into the dressing room well.”
