Aberdeen FC Chief Executive, Duncan Fraser, has received the SPFL CEO of the Year Award at the Football Business Awards.
The Awards, recognise and reward the hard work that takes place to support the success of the game. The Dons chief was handed his prize at an awards dinner in London at the end of last week.
In receiving the award, Duncan dedicated it to the support staff at AFC.
Duncan is one of the longest serving CEO’s in Scotland. He stared his Pittodrie career in 2002 as Company Secretary before becoming Executive Director – Head of Operations a couple of years later. In February 2007 Duncan took up the role of Managing Director and became Chief Executive in the summer of 2010.
Over the past few seasons the stability and success on the park has been matched off it with the club becoming debt free plus there has been a steady increase in the club’s revenue streams.
He continues to be the driving force behind the day to day business at Pittodrie.
