Ahead of the 2015/16 season we are considering what measures can be taken to improve the atmosphere at Pittodrie on a matchday. The club recognises there is an appetite among the AFC support to back the team more vocally at Pittodrie and we want to help facilitate that in the best way that we can.
Due to the condition of the stadium there are obviously restrictions on what can be done but we are keen to hear from you, the supporters, as to what steps you think the club could take to improve the atmosphere at Pittodrie.
One measure that we have looked at taking is moving the away support to a different section of the stadium but unfortunately due to the terms of the safety certificate and the need for segregation this is not possible.
For season 2015/16 we have committed to the removal of the segregation fence in the South Stand between sections T & V to join up the home support in that section of the stadium. We hope that this along with some other developments can help to improve the overall atmosphere at Pittodrie on a matchday.
To help us gauge the level of interest in improving the atmosphere at Pittodrie we have compiled a survey which we would invite all supporters to complete before 5pm on Monday 20th April.
