Join the players and the League Cup at the Bon Accord Centre!
The club has teamed up with the Bon Accord & St Nicholas centres to stage a family friendly event on Sunday (May 4) from 12-4pm.
Players from the trophy winning side will be meeting supporters and signing autographs between 1-2pm, with fans also getting the opportunity to have photographs taken with the Scottish League Cup.
A beat the goalie competition with a twist – using Xbox on the big screen – will also be on offer as well as a pop-up Aberdeen club shop selling merchandise celebrating the team’s victory against Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the final.
Dons manager Derek McInnes said: “The response to the cup win throughout the North-east has been phenomenal. We’re really keen to share the celebrations with as many of the supporters as we can and the event at Bon Accord & St Nicholas on Sunday is another opportunity to do that. It promises to be a great afternoon and we hope to see a big turnout from the Red Army.”
The Dons fun day, which will run in the Bon Accord mall from 12-4pm, is the latest in a series of free events run by the centres. Over the Easter holidays a programme which included science demonstrations, magic shows and a children’s fair proved popular with families.
Craig Stevenson, Bon Accord & St Nicholas manager, said: “The whole city has had a fantastic lift from the performances of the Dons this season, not least in the League Cup final. We have certainly noticed the feel-good factor in the centres and we’re delighted to be playing a part in maintaining that with the event this weekend.
