The Dons number nine scored his ninth goal in 12 games against Dundee this evening, goal number 16 for the campaign. After the match Adam spoke to RedTV:
“I seem to score a few goals against Dundee which is nice.
“The most important thing though is that it is another win which keeps our good run going in the league.
“We could have had a few more goals in the game, their keeper has had a few good saves early on in the match, we have had a few cleared off the line, but the main thing was just to get the win and get the three points.
“I got the goal early on which was enough to see us through but as I say we had plenty of chances throughout the game. They also had a few chances.
“You can always gamble on Jonny shanking a shot! Thankfully he has done it again tonight. It is a good partnership. He tries to shoot and I get the tap-ins!
“At the other end Niall put over a great ball but unfortunately I could not get on the end of it properly and it has gone over.
“We have had to adapt our game with different pitches and different places. Tonight we had to go a bit more direct at times but we are capable of doing that.
“We are on a good run, that’s 10 unbeaten in the league and if you take out the Hearts game in the cup we have been playing consistently well. It’s another clean sheet so that gives us plenty of confidence.
“We are always confident. I don’t think there has been a game this season that we have went into thinking that we couldn’t win. Even when we were on a bad run we never went out in the hope that we could nick a draw, that’s not the way we are.
“We have a couple of days off which will be nice. A chance to recover a bit as we have played a good number of games recently, and in difficult conditions. The boys will then come back ready and will be looking forward to the game.
“We are always ready to play anyone. On our day we are capable of beating anyone and we showed that earlier on in the season with some of the results we had in the league and in Europe.
“We are just looking to take each game as it comes that’s what has served us so well in the last ten games. We don’t want to get carried away with ourselves. We want to keep improving and see where that takes us.
“We just look after ourselves. As long as we do our jobs we will see where it takes us.
“It would be brilliant to get to the Euro’s. Every player would tell you the same but the only chance I have got of doing that is if I keep scoring goals.”
