The Young Dons have reached the SFA Youth Cup Semi‑Final, where they face Queen’s Park for a place in the final. The Club hasn’t lifted this trophy since 2001, and this talented group now has a real opportunity to make history once again.
The development squad have also booked their place in the Aberdeenshire Shield Cup Final, having already secured the Aberdeenshire Cup earlier in the season.
Several of our development players are also gaining invaluable experience out on loan, receiving regular senior football in highly competitive leagues while still featuring for Aberdeen in major tournaments. They are not only progressing individually but actively competing for silverware, strengthening the future of the Club.

What is AberDNA?
AberDNA is a membership initiative designed to connect local, national and international supporters with Aberdeen FC.
Unlike season tickets or other memberships, profits from AberDNA go directly to the football operation, supporting the first team, our Academy and our young players who represent the future of Aberdeen FC.
In return for this support, Members access a range of benefits across the club ranging from FREE merchandise to Dons Cash Savings across the Club and incredible perks including your name on the Tunnel Wall at Pittodrie.
The membership initiative was launched in 2018 and is the envy of Clubs across the globe.
Membership Updates for the Upcoming Season
As we continue to grow the Membership and investment in the football operation, several important updates are being introduced this year:
Improved Access for Young Members
Having consulted with Members and to ensure young supporters can enjoy the same access and purchase opportunities as the rest of their families, U12 and Youth Members will now receive 40 Priority Points, aligning them with adult membership categories going forward.
This update will ensure parity across categories and means that young Dons will be able to buy tickets and secure access windows alongside their families, strengthening the matchday experience for the next generation of supporters and making it a smoother experience for supporters.
Price Adjustments
We are facing rising operational costs across the membership. To ensure that we are able to cover these costs while continuing to maximise output for the football operation and the potential to strengthen the pathway for young talent, the following amendments have been made to the pricing structure:
Premium, International & Standard memberships will increase by £1 per month.
Platinum, Youth & U12 price bands will remain unchanged.
Having increased Platinum Membership costs last season, we were unfortunately forced to increase prices across all other adult categories this season. These adjustments help ensure that AberDNA profits continue to be reinvested on the pitch and in developing future Dons stars, whilst continuing to offer the fantastic benefits that the membership entitles.
It was important to maintain pricing across the Youth and U12 membership categories as we seek to keep access to the incredible benefits of membership as affordable as possible for the next generation. The increased support from young fans has been notable because of this stance, with a reducing average age of match and season ticket attendance as well as in AberDNA members.
Please note that these prices take effect from 1st March and will only take effect from the point of renewal. All members will receive notification of any price changes via email ahead of the renewal.
Premium+ Discontinued
Following a thorough review and feedback from members, the Premium+ category will be discontinued.
Before their renewal date, a member of our team will contact Premium + members directly to discuss the available options and ensure that all membership options are offered to allow them to choose the membership level that best suits their needs going forward.
