Aberdeen v Boroughmuir Thistle SWPL Cup 1st Round 4pm kick-off, Sunday 8th August 2021 Balmoral Stadium, Aberdeen

Following a short break after lifting the SWPL2 trophy, AFC Women return to competitive action this Sunday with Boroughmuir Thistle visiting in the opening fixture of the SWPL Cup.

Emma Hunter’s side will be hoping to get off to a solid start in a group that also contains a trip to Glasgow to face Queens Park before welcoming Motherwell to the Balmoral Stadium. The team then face a final away fixture with Rangers to close out the group.

For both of our home cup matches with Boroughmuir Thistle and Motherwell, all Under 16s and 2021/22 season ticket members will receive free access with all other adults able to gain entry for £5. Entry will be via cash turnstiles only.

The Dons will then kick-off the league campaign with a match against Celtic on 5th September and ahead of that match we will confirm ticketing arrangements for all SWPL home games for the 2021/22 campaign.

Supporters attending Sunday’s match should note that there are a number of protocols which must be adhered to at Balmoral Stadium and a face covering must be worn at all times. Haar Rock will be operating a kiosk selling refreshments.
