The Dons have added a friendly game to their pre-season schedule against English Championship side West Bromwich Albion as they gear up for their UEFA Europa League campaign.

Albion boss Darren Moore has agreed to take his team north for the match which will take place at Pittodrie on Friday the 20th of July with a 7.30pm KO, six days before Aberdeen start another European adventure.

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes spent three years at The Hawthorns between 2000 and 2003 and captained the side to promotion to the English Premier League. He played alongside Moore during that time.

WBA, who played in the Premiership for eight consecutive seasons from 2010/11 to 2017/18, currently have Scottish internationals James Morrison, Matt Phillips and Oliver Burke on their books.

Ticket details for this game will follow in due course.
