“It is a huge game for both games.

“We have got good memories when we last went down there, it was one of our best performances of the season. We can go down there with that in our minds and with our confidence high on the back of some decent performances.

“It is good to see our injuries clearing up.

“At every football club the manager needs options to choose from. Craig Bryson has been really unlucky with injuries. He was a fantastic signing for us and hasn’t been able to stay fit. You have seen the value of what Funso brings to the team, that tenacity, the determination in midfield.

“It is great that the manager has options now and is not having to play people out of positions.

“Dean is a fantastic football player and he will be brilliant for this football club. Everything that he gets asked to do he does and does it well. He is a great, honest lad and you see that in his performances as well. He is an Aberdeen fan and he always gives his best for the badge.

“We are lucky to have a player like him at the football club and he has a fantastic future here.

“Third place won’t be won or lost on Friday night, but it will go a large way towards it.

“There are 24 points left to play for. There is not going to be a lot of opportunities to make points up. Friday is a huge game.

“If we can play with the mentality, the aggression and be on the front foot as we have done in recent games, we can go there confident that we will get a result.

“When we play with that aggression and are on the front foot, that is when we are at our best. We need to bring that on Friday and if we do that then we are confident that we can win the game. We are also respectful of a Motherwell team who have been brilliant this season and are above us in the table.

“When we go to away games the fans make plenty of noise. They have been an unbelievable support to us, our away support is fantastic. There is no better feeling after you win a game and going to celebrate with our away fans. It has helped our away results this season and we will look to give them something to cheer about on Friday night.

“We have still got everything to play for. There is a cup semi-final as well in a few weeks’ time which is something to look forward to. The way we have won games and performed in the cups is something that we can take into our league form and have been doing.

“The importance of three points on Friday night has to be evident in our performance.”
