“I understand how the fans are feeling. It has been frustrating recently as we have not been picking up the results that we would have liked. We have just tried to stay as positive as possible and focus on trying to get that next win. That is what we will try and do tomorrow night.
“It has to be a collective effort. It is not just the forward players. The goals have to come from all over the pitch, whether that be from open play or set pieces. We have been working hard on the training ground and hopefully we can take that onto the pitch.
“We have not been creating enough clear cut chances in recent weeks. Our delivery from set pieces has not been good enough. Also, we have got into some good areas, but our final pass has not been the correct option, or we have not taken on shots when we maybe should have. So the decision making has not been as on point as it was at the start of the season. And also, maybe a bit of bad luck as we have hit the woodwork on a number of occasions. We are sure things will change.
“From a personal point of view, I feel I have improved, physically and on the pitch. I have been happy with the amount of minutes I have had and I am hoping my development can continue as the weeks go on.
“I know what I can bring to the team in terms of my ability to be composed on the ball, but I have got to try and hurt teams more. I have sometimes got to be more positive in my play. That is something I have been working on. I am looking to play more forward passes and start attacks for us from deeper positions. The more I play, the more I will improve that side of my game.”
