Midfielder Naomi McLaughlin joined Aberdeen from NIFL Premiership side Cliftonville on a deal until the end of the season in January 2026, with the Club securing a one-year option. 20-year-old McLaughlin headed across the water after two seasons at The Reds, where she won the domestic treble during the 2023/2024 season. Previously of Sion Swifts Ladies, McLaughlin has represented Northern Ireland at U19 level and previously won the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership Player of the Month award for June 2025, after recording four goal contributions as her side fought back from 2-0 down to beat Glentoran Women 4-2 in the Women’s League Cup final.
