Aberdeen Women kicked off their 25/26 transfer window with the signing of highly rated Montrose forward Holly Daniel. Hailing from Alford, 18-year-old Daniel joined the Dons after three impressive seasons at the ‘Mo, where she made over 50 top-flight appearances, playing a key role in ensuring the Links Park side remained in SWPL1 against the odds. The forward, who can operate anywhere across the frontline netted eight times in the league during season 2024/25, finishing as the Club’s joint top scorer alongside former Don Louise Brown. Daniel boasts an impressive record against Aberdeen, scoring against the Club on three separate occasions, one being a dramatic 86th minute strike at Pittodrie in May that was only cancelled out by Darcie Miller’s even later equaliser. Daniel has also represented Scotland at U16 and U17 level, where she featured alongside new team-mates Madison Finnie and Aimee Black. The forward signed a two-year deal at Cormack Park.
