Alex Clarke joined Aberdeen Women on a one-year deal in August 2025. 24-year-old Clarke heads across the water after a successful spell with NIFL Premiership club Linfield club, making 22 appearances and scoring nine times. Prior to her breakthrough at Linfield, the forward was more known for exploits in Gaelic Football, playing for Crossmalgen and Armagh, balancing GAA with time at Newry City as a teenager. Clarke is the next of many to embark on the well-travelled path of moving from the NIFL to the SWPL.
