A Latvia U19s international, Rodrigo penned a contract extension in November 2024 that will see the young goalkeeper remain with The Dons until at least the summer of 2027. After a loan spell at Keith FC in the Highland League, Vitols returned to Aberdeen for 2025/26 and featured on the bench during our UEFA Europa Conference League campaign. Vitols played a key role in The Dons winning the Aberdeenshire Cup in 2025, saving two penalties in the shootout against Formartine United.
