French winger Hicham Mahou joined the Dons on a one-year contract in September 2026, with a club option for a further year.
Hicham made more than 120 appearances for FC Lugano, helping the Swiss side compete regularly in European competition. Prior to his move to Switzerland, he progressed through the academy system at OGC Nice and gained further experience during loan spells in France.
