Having joined the Youth Academy at Under‑12 level, Findlay was also part of the SFA Performance School at Hazlehead.

After signing his first professional contract in the summer of 2022, he was rewarded with a three‑year contract extension in 2023.

Loan spells with Edinburgh City and Cove Rangers helped pave the way for his move to Arbroath last season, where he has made a significant impact in the highly competitive Scottish Championship. Findlay has netted 14 goals and played a key role in the Red Lichties’ push for the promotion play‑offs.

With 81 competitive appearances over the last two years, the experience gained has helped him mature both on and off the pitch and prepare for the demands of full‑time football with the Dons.
