Central coaches provide transport for SFA Performance School at Hazlehead Academy
Young AFC Youth Academy players have got a free ticket to ride thanks to Central Coaches who have teamed up with Aberdeen FC to provide free transport for players attending the SFA Performance School at Hazlehead Academy.
The Performance Schools programme, introduced by the Scottish FA, is designed to give talented boys and girls, with the best potential to develop their abilities, the opportunity to practice football every day within a school environment. Working with Elite Youth coaches the children receive the very best education courtesy of Hazlehead Academy while the programme complements and supplements their coaching with AFC Youth Academy.
AFC Youth Academy graduate, Peter Pawlett, joined Hazlehead Academy Performance School pupils, alongside Lynne Smith, Managing Director of Central Coaches to recognise the contribution Central make in ensuring the smooth running of the performance centre.
Managing Director of Central Coaches, Lynne Smith, is thrilled to be supporting the AFC Youth Academy:

“With so many talented youngsters emerging from the Youth Academy and making the ultimate transition to the first team, we are pleased to be able to play our part in their development by escorting them safely to matches, both home and away, and of course from the performance school at Hazlehead Academy.

As our Official Youth Transport Partner, Central Coaches provide transportation for all our youth squads from Under 10′ to Under 20’s, guiding them on their travels for both league matches and to various tournaments throughout the country which they participate in during the course of the season.
Their help and support goes a long way to enhancing the continued development of AFC Youth Academy and with the emergence of a number of our talented youngsters in recent months we are now beginning to reap significant rewards at first team level.
