Aberdeen FC is seeking to recruit a Performance Analysis Intern to join their team to provide filming and feedback on the performance of the newly formed Aberdeen FC’s Women’s squad.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team working towards bringing a return of SWPL football to the city of Aberdeen.
The role will involve filming a match at a weekend and providing feedback to the Women’s team coaches and players. Successful applicants will learn the inner workings of the Clubs holistic performance management tool, the Football Squad, and will receive formal and on the job training.
The successful candidate will report directly to the First Team Performance Analyst who will mentor individuals and assist with developing individuals’ skills in relation to Performance Analysis.
They will also receive two tickets to attend Aberdeen FC First Team home matches.
Candidates will ideally be in at least third year of further education and working towards a degree level qualification in Performance Analysis, Sport Science or equivalent and have experience in video editing and use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
