“We wanted to start the game strongly and we did that. The first half an hour we played really well and got our goal.
“We have had opportunities throughout the game but it is always important to get that second goal to give you a strong hold of the game. We have allowed them to come back into it.
“In the second half we wanted to start the way we had done in the first half but we could not really get going and they have got a second goal.
“It was disappointing, so disappointing.
“We wanted to come and put in a good performance but more importantly get the points we needed. We feel like we have let them go.
“I am not sure what the turning point was. Maybe when equalised. We have played well in that first half hour and created chances. I don’t know what then happened but we appeared to switch off for a split second and then all of sudden the game is level.
“We have lost cheap goals and missed some good opportunities. It is little things that have cost us.
“Since I have been here it has not happened on many occasions but tonight was a big time for it to happen.
“We have to do better when we are leading. The past two away games we have been leading but have lost. We have to be better at seeing games out.
“We have to keep going. We have to keep going. That is all we can do. We have a couple of weeks now until the next game. It is going to be a very long two weeks.
“We have to move on and focus on the next game and go again.
“We know that the games are running out now. We are not giving up.
“The fans came in good numbers. They stayed with us throughout and they deserve more. We are going to be working hard to put things right.”
